Aeres VET has 11 vocational education locations spread across the northern and central regions of the Netherlands: Almere, Barneveld, Buitenpost, Dronten, Dronten-Warmonderhof, Ede, Emmeloord, Heerenveen, Leeuwarden, Sneek and Velp. In total, Aeres VET has nearly 3400 students.
Aeres VET is part of Aeres. Aeres educates “Green Change-Makers”. In the Netherlands, Aeres is the only green educator with a single, continuous green learning path way, from pre-vocational secondary education (vmbo) to master level (EQF 1 to 7).
With more than 20 teaching locations - spread across the Netherlands - Aeres offers a broad network, where 15,000 pupils and students, 15,000 course participants and almost 2,000 employees learn, innovate and increase their professionalism every day.

At Aeres VET, students are challenged to develop their talents and take responsibility for their own learning process. This approach ensures that, upon graduation, our students are well prepared and attractive to the labour market.

At Aeres VET, we believe in maintaining a strong connection with our surrounding environment. We work closely with various partners to strengthen the quality of our education. Aeres collaborates intensively with the business community, the public sector, social organizations and knowledge institutions in the green sector. And not only in the Netherlands, but also within Europe and even worldwide.
We offer pupils, students and professionals the opportunity to gain experience abroad and welcome international pupils, students and professionals to learn and share knowledge with us. This is the contribution Aeres makes to the development of future-oriented solutions for a healthy green world.

Our education focuses on developing sustainable knowledge and skills, ensuring that students gain the tools they need for the future. Providing and receiving meaningful feedback and offering a challenging educational curriculum are central to this approach.

For Aeres, the international perspective is therefore crucial. Our pupils, students, and trainees live in an international society. With our expertise, we contribute to solving global challenges within the green sector. We are working with national and international partners and actively participate in International projects.
