How do you prepare professionals for the social and economic challenges of tomorrow? With Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs), Aeres collaborates at European level on innovative and future-oriented vocational education. This takes place within strong collaborative networks with educational institutions, companies, governments and other partners.
CoVEs are part of the European Union's Erasmus+ programme. Within a CoVE, partners collaborate on a specific sector, such as green technology, e-mobility, healthcare or the agri-food sector, and focus on innovative solutions to social issues such as climate change, AI and integration.
Skills for a climate-friendly agricultural sector
One of the European projects in which Aeres is actively involved is EVECSA (European Vocational Excellence in Climate Smart Agriculture). This project focuses on strengthening craftsmanship in climate-friendly agriculture. It supports current and future professionals in agriculture in making climate-conscious choices. EVECSA does this by developing innovative learning programmes and setting up Centres for Craftsmanship. These centres combine education, training and practical work.
