This TMT for the Natural Resources Development College in Zambia will support the staff in performing their duties and support activities to lead farmers, who will benefit from increased capacity in the area of integrated farmers systems. After the TMT a team of motivated and pro-active lead farmers and extension workers will be able to disseminate information through the farming campus as advocates for integrated farming systems in the four districts of the College.
- The TMT will focus on:
- Vegetable production
- Poultry production
- Dairy small ruminant production
- Development of effective farmer training programme
The TMT will indirectly target resource poor farmers who are marginalised virtue of their financial standing in society with a special attention to women and youth.
